Ieva Iltnere is one of the most outstanding and creative artists of her generation. She participates in exhibitions since 1978. Iltnere has created her system of images with a familiar and particularly original style. The artist’s formal stylistics is influenced by the painterly halftones based ascetic color scale, characterized by subdued coloring and discrete intonation.
